to connect to wifi at uni, you need your eduroam password. you can set that on the internet after you have a verified auth-service password, for which you need to visit an office in person.
the AS password you get at the office is only for the AS web thing to change your AS password. lab computers (connected to the net by other means) can be used with AS login only.
and, as iʼve now learned, the geteduroam app (that helps with setting up eduroam) also requires internet connection.
