Hello everyone! I recently did a soft-launch of my macOS app called ImageFlow. ImageFlow is a node-based image editor build for non-linear and nondestructive workflows. I have been working on this non-stop for the past two years and poured my soul on this. I'm currently looking for feedback so I can decide the next steps on the app's development. Get in touch with me if you want a promo-code to test the app. Thanks and have a great day! #Indiedev #macos #macapp #swift #apple

Apple's help books are barely documented, so I wrote up how I build one out of the same Markdown that feeds my docs site. The trap that cost me an evening: hiutil's CoreSpotlight index only works once Spotlight has imported your help bundle, and that never happens for a debug build out of DerivedData. Use the legacy LSM format instead. pandoc and a ten-line Lua filter do the rest. https://www.lilback.com/mac-help-book-from-markdown/ #macOS #MacDev #Swift #Xcode #iOSDev

Supporting multiple iOS versions in SwiftUI doesn’t have to mean duplicating views. I wrote about a few patterns I use to keep compatibility code clean from conditional modifiers to a .backport namespace. 📖 https://dev.to/emadbeyrami/supporting-multiple-ios-versions-in-swiftui-without-turning-your-views-into-a-mess-52oc #SwiftUI #Swift #iosdev #iosdevelopment #Apple

#swiftui never got an update to make TimelineProvider more async friendly and it's not coming with #Xcode27, so I finally got around to making my own incredibly lightweight wrapper. Feel free to checkout and use AsyncTimelineProvider. https://github.com/Rspoon3/AsyncTimelineProvider #iosdev #ios #swift

Launch day for Dashlet has come - it is now available for download, and, at least for now, pre-orders seem like a good way to go - though even with a longer lead time would've been better. (1/3) #buildInPublic #dev #swift #swiftUI #iOS
