Satuin kurkistamaan vanhaan outlook-sähköpostilootaan. Spammifiltterin läpi on sujahtanut roskaposti, jota lukiessa meinasi lentää kahvit nenästä. Lähettäjä oli asianajaja herra Merrick Garland osoitteesta garlandmrmerrick5@gmail.com.
Garland Mr Merrickiltä näppäimistössä on ilmeisesti ongelma pisteen kanssa:
"I am here to let you know that Mrs Gina is a celebrity here in United States of America and she has two companies of car Dealership Brooklyn New York and other one in Las Vegas Nevada and three cars then she has two houses in Los Angeles California and one in Washington DC and she has about $76,000,000.00 in her account and some gold which I know will fetch you millions of dollars when you do businesses or sell them out to people and Mrs Gina had an automobile accident with her only son and they both died but she gave me your contact and told me that she wanted to hand over all her property to you because she didn't write a will of how the properties should be shared and also because you share same surname with her
So please I would like you to reply now let’s get this straightened out and the papers of the properties and her businesses to be signed and converted to her name .."
Roskaposti oli kirjoitettu ikään kuin se olisi osa jotain pidempääkin keskustelua, jonka minä olen jättänyt huomioimatta. Yksi feikkiviestihistorian viesteistä oli kuitenkin loistava:
"Attention dear in Christ Jesus Christ? I have been waiting to hear from you since but you keep silent does it mean that you are interested in your delivery or should I cancel everything because I don't have much time to spend with you here please?"
