#midterms

Chevron disclosed $12 billion in earnings, reflecting a $9.6-billion jump over the same quarter last year and the firm’s biggest profit since 2020. ExxonMobil said its earnings were $14.5 billion, more than double what the company reported for the same quarter last year. #EpsteinClass getting rich off of the people, while these monsters crush the people. Oil companies have delighted Wall Street this week by reporting multibillion-dollar windfalls in their earnings statements, with ExxonMobil and Chevron reporting a combined $26.5 billion in profits during the second quarter of the year. But the immense profit stemming in large part from the war in Iran, and at the expense of #voters who will remember this depraved fuckery. #usa #news #midterms

#Ukraine recently took out some Yandex data centers. Apparently this has led to a sharp reduction in Kremlin trolls on social media. I also saw a screen shot from the dead bird site saying the bot traffic is much quieter over there. This could actually affect the US #midterms. And this is one reason I constantly talk about Ukraine. I do it because they deserve all our support, because it's the opposite of what #Putin wants, and because they are fighting for us all. https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/1x31dxj/bot_traffic_from_the_yandex_network_dropped_to/

I blocked a certain white woman in 2024 because she was one of those anti-voting geniuses who helped cause this shitshow. But I'd still hear about her from people frustrated with her bullcrap. Apparently after she heard that Trump wanted to take away birth control, ALL OF A SUDDEN voting mattered. Nobody else's rights mattered, but hers sure did! So if you know anybody who somehow still needs a prod... https://www.commondreams.org/news/doj-abortion-midterms#Trump #midterms #healthcare

From the U.S. #Congress Senator Whitehouse: First the wedding, now the ballroom — “Trump/Russia” gets smellier and smellier. "The Russians are paying for Trump's ballroom, and he just took sanctions off one of them in exchange. Putin owns this White House from top to bottom." https://www.esquire.com/news-politics/politics/a73967876/white-house-ballroom-trump-russia/ #news #midterms #elections #usa #Ukraine #eu

Once again, the fascists weren't smart enough to make their evil plans work. They thought they could destroy what's left of US healthcare and consolidate power before they got the blowback. Because these people don't understand how anything works, we EVEN WARNED THEM ABOUT THIS. And they still did it. Sorry, guys, but your voters wanted to be racist, not poor! https://www.politico.com/news/2026/10/03/gop-plan-to-punt-health-care-cuts-didnt-work-01105384#healthcare #Medicaid #Democrats #Republicans #Midterms #MAGA

RE: https://mastodon.social/@indivisibleteam/117377778706436754 This is hilarious, but deadly serious at the same time. There are chapters of Cat Ladies for America all over the US. There are romance novel fans phone banking together. People who love crafting are having protest art parties. People who love beer are having planning meetings at progressive breweries. This kind of stuff is at least as dangerous to the regime as anarchists in black bloc throwing tear gas containers back at police. #Trump #midterms #GOP #Democrats

Not only does Ann Coulter think the #Republicans will wipe out in the #midterms but 84% of US adults surveyed expect major change. That latter point is even more important than hard core Nazis turning on Trump. It matches what I see in the streets and hear about from resisters in other cities. https://www.themirror.com/news/politics/even-conservative-ann-coulter-thinks-2044655

Molly Jong-Fast is rightly noting that the Cabinet is a cliquish and back-stabby bunch. She proposes that the GOP could "could still turn on [Trump] to save itself." His Cabinet was hand-picked to ensure loyalty due to cowardice and kompromat. I don't see them removing him. But the #GOP Congress critters? I have said from the beginning that this is over when they're more afraid of the people than #Trump. If we crush the #midterms they could indeed turn on him. https://www.rawstory.com/trump-25th-amendment-2677947579/
