I notice many people are receiving their #JollaPhone! I tried to note down some of the things I did to get cosy with my new #SailfishOS device in a new blog post: "I have my Jolla Phone, what now?" https://www.rubdos.be/2026/08/01/my-sailfish-os-journey-what-they-should-ve-told-you.html#jolla #linuxonmobile #gettingstarted #harbour #android #microg #aurora

Question: Do you have a todo-list app on your phone? Something for simple things like the shopping list - not for project management. Boosts appreciated ;) See also my bid: https://expressional.social/@anderslund/117337550246443917 #todoapp #linuxonmobile #postmarketos #plasma_mobile

Attached: 1 image Thanks a bunch for every answer (104!) , and for comments to my question about todo-list apps, here: https://expressional.social/@anderslund/117331823069387820. More than half has and uses, or wants, a todo-list app. Some people tend to use tools that allows to edit the data in a text editor (Me too). So here is a very preliminary prototype of a simple checklist app. Actually usable, though no data is saved at this point. Made with qml and Kirigami, aimed at mostly #linux an

I can now go sailing with it too :p I think I got as far as possible for now though. Hopefully the qt people will add support for unix sockets, so the satellite info will be easily available (I suggested that), and also fix the data issues (I will suggest that). If/when that happens, I could make this an actual app, if anyone would be interrested. #postmarketOS #plasma_mobile #qml #qt #linuxonmobile

My #iPhone got stolen, and guess how useful the spy machines spying features ended up being? Not at all. I am done with these assclowns and am ordering a #pinephone. How bad #linuxonmobile could possibly be? I’ll have to change my bank because being yet another assclown they are „app only“ and want me to stay locked in with the spying assclowns. Nothing of value will be lost.
