A client can have a legitimate complaint and still ask for the wrong fix. Turning off MFA or giving everyone admin access can leave a bigger problem behind. I wrote about where MSPs need to push back, what they owe the client, and when a service needs a firm boundary. https://www.kylereddoch.me/blog/the-customer-isnt-always-right-about-it/ #MSP #ITSupport #Cybersecurity

Windows updates often feel like a gamble where you hope your PC still works afterward. The Windows 11 26H2 update focuses on stability and installs as a quick enablement package if you are already on a recent build. I put together a guide on what to expect here: https://gwizit.com/go/BKMAcK1 #Windows11 #TechTips #ITSupport #SoftwareUpdate

If you have noticed that copy and paste suddenly stopped working in Microsoft Excel, you are not alone. Microsoft's latest Patch Tuesday update (KB5002914) has introduced a bug that silently disables the paste function across Excel 2016, 2019, 2021, and 2024. When users attempt to paste content, the operation simply fails without displaying an error message or alert: the source stays selected, and the target cell remains blank. Microsoft has officially acknowledged the issue and confirmed that a fix is currently in the works. Until an update rolls out, there is no official workaround available. #Microsoft #Excel #TechNews #CyberSecurity #PatchTuesday #ITSupport https://www.itpro.com/security/microsoft-patch-tuesday-inadvertently-takes-down-copy-and-paste-in-excel-and-theres-no-way-to-fix-it-yet
