Bei der Mitmachbaustelle des Gestaltung-Master-Projekt "Common Shelter" haben wir von Freitag bis Montag Seiten und Dach fertig gebaut: Inklusive gespendetem Gründachaufbau, mit auf Matten vorgezogenen Pflanzen. Mehr dazu im Bautagebuch: https://shelter.apgw.de/#2026_06_26 Auch Beispiele von Kunst, die als Inspiration für das Projekt diente, waren in Form der Bücher "30 Jahre - Joseph Beuys - 7000 Eichen" und "Arte povera - Manifeste, Statements, Kritiken" auf der Baustelle präsent. Teile davon fließen in meine Master-Thesis ein, die ich am 7. Juli abgeben muss. Mitmachbaustelle(n): Letzte Arbeiten am Shelter bei Ecosphere in Rietberg, wie die Rückwand und eine Sitzkante, möchte ich (gerne mit euch) vom 10.-12.07.2026 umsetzen. Vom 17.-19.07.2026 baue ich zudem vor dem Fachbereich Gestaltung der Hochschule Bielefeld einen modellhaften Shelter für die Werkschau. The participative shelter construction site at the "ecosphere" farm project near Rietberg in Germany is part of my "Gestaltung" master's project "Common Shelter". It should also be a stepstone to empower climate friendly travels, by bike and foot, and make it easier.

Our plan is:

1. If it's too hot: Go to the near "Sennebach", find a place in the shade, cool down in the water.

2. Fix the roof edge and glue a permanent EPDM foil onto the roof + layers of green roof plants.

3. Build the last side and back walls.

4. Create a front edge from oak wood and paint linseed oil varnish on the inner floor.
