Ok, no lateness on this #FarmerFatFuck for once.

Week 2: "Need Additional Soil"

First up, Flowers - the bees seem to love the Salvia & Marigold combo. I wonder if I can add in more...

Since it is officially June tomorrow, I better make sure the beetle bags are out. I am NOT dealing with those non-Kamen Riders eating the shit out of my cucumbers this year.

I am worried that the colder than usual weather is going to fuck over the "Orange Blaze" peppers. Then again, they need 65 to 70 days to fully mature.

The "Romaine" lettuce is doing rather well. Which is good seeing how I have NEVER done this before. At least I don't have to worry about random farm workers shitting on them... right?

Cucumbers have easily shown growth so more twine has been added and yet, it feels like I've fucked up with how these were set up already.

Tomatoes seem small and yet, I know they will grow more over the next month or so.

Chives are still in their "reloading" phase now.

Until next week Poast - Stay Critical.

Alright, lets get started with the final season of #FarmerFatFuck. Since I am not supposed to plant anything before Mother's Day, guess we can call this... Week -2: "Prepare Your Soil" The plan this year is to keep it rather simple, might just do Cucumbers and Tomatoes. Any ideas for collecting rainwater have to be "free standing barrels" if I can find a set up. Mostly because cutting and messing with gutters is frowned on this year due to losses within the family. Which reminds me, I do need to start planning on building cucumber ladders with just string. Last year's attempt with old tomato cages failed due to the plants NOT enjoying the need to coil around thick metal frames. That means, getting more twine and poles to make the necessary 2x2 inch squares. Well, until next week Poast - Stay Critical.
