So after years of a family vacation in the Outer Banks, where it can be rather bike friendly, we got a bike with a trailer as an option with this rental. With the closest supermarket only 2 flat miles away we did a big shop by bike for the first time after years of getting daily needs only by bike. Drüben bei Meta wurde ich eben daran erinnert, dass ich heute vor vier Jahren angefixt wurde mit einem Bakfiets #carryshitolympics zu betreiben. Ein halbes Jahr später hat sich das Business meiner Frau dann eines angeschafft das ich auch nutzen darf und inzwischen hat das Rad mehr als 5000 km runter. Gibt's eigentlich so eine Erinnerungsfunktion für "erfolgreichere" Tröts auch hier im #Fediverse? Das vermisse ich hier schon.

Sonst (weiß ich seit kurzem, vermutlich kennst Du die schon) gibt es als inoffizielles Zubehör eine "Gepäckträgerverlängerung", damit kann man dann auch "normale" Fahrradtaschen ans Brompton schnallen. Auf jeden Fall: Gute Fahrt + schick Bilder

ich vergess doch nicht, dass ich euch noch meine gestrigen #carryshitolympics schuldig bin. Nur echt, wenn neben der Ladung noch eine neue Eurobox mit nach Hause muss, damit die Ladung vernünftig gelascht werden kann... Bei 66 kg Zuladung und etwas z weit hinten liegendem Schwerpunkt wird sie etwas flatterhaft in der Lenkung, die Kiste, aber sie läuft.
