I am saying that Democrats do tend to screw things up less than #Republicans do… I have no doubt things will still be dismal if/when Democrats are in charge. This is a good-cop bad-cop play to keep #bipartisanGrift going. >> some are honestly well-intentioned -- even if many of those well-intentioned ones are themselves misled by disinformation. Not misled.

⬆️ @woozle@toot.cat >> If a person of good intention makes decisions which most informed people understand to be bad ones, what are they if not misled? If you're arguing that they're not actually well-intentioned, then you need to say that. I have just as much evidence of them being not misled as you have of them being misled 😀 And misled by whom? If you and I can sort through disinformation, why can't they? They can but don't want to for #bipartisanGrift @ashwin@defcon.social @claralistensprechen3rd @SeanCasten@mastodon.social

⬆️ @woozle@toot.cat Ran out of space above. >> If a person of good intention makes decisions which most informed people understand to be bad ones, what are they if not misled? This is a counterfactual. Premise is they are well-intentioned. I am challenging that premise. I'm saying, they are driven by #greed and #bipartisanGrift. If your premise is not true, then your conclusion is false. Even if premise is true, your conclusion might not be. #blackmail @ashwin@defcon.social @claralistensprechen3rd @SeanCasten@mastodon.social
