A beautiful day in the neighborhood.

1. Baked oat bread this morning and had a peanut butter sandwich.

2. Nice relaxed bike ride with my partner.

3. Made a pizza.

!. Today a young man I know made a change in the direction of life. He has shelter instead of the street.

1. Tonight the same young man spoke up at the City Council meeting in favor of a proposal for an emergency warming overnight center.

2. The council voted to allow the warming center a 1 year trial.

Today was a chance to spend a few hours on my bike. No need to think about all the bad stuff for a bit.

1. Great weather.

2. A chance to ride my bike.

3. Doughnuts!
