Apparently accidentally, todays album was Dolly Parton/Linda Ronstadt/Emmylou Harris 'Trio' album from 1987. I can't stand most country music, so I was happy to find out Dolly's final release from 2024 'Rockstar'. It's not rock as I see it, but there are some really good tunes on it. They're mostly swinging to a mighty countryesque swagger tho. #1001albums

#1001Albums Heroes by David Bowie https://album.link/gb/i/1347894082 Picking a favourite Bowie album is a little bit like being asked to name your most loved child. For me, the Berlin trilogy is like a set of triplets - they all have their quirks and individual personalities but they also have a unique bond between them. If Lodger is the cheeky outsider and Low the introspective, arty one, then Heroes is the confident middle child that gets the balance right.
