Aw, okay. Thanks for answering. It’s amazing how often the symptoms for ADHD and autism are interchangeable. I’ve always just hated myself and all my autistic traits so I assumed all these quirks were just present because that’s who I am. It’s interesting to find out how many of them come from something I have no control over. There’s also a lot of overlap between ADHD/autism and asexuality, and asexual people tend to take long showers because of the warmth we’re not getting through physical contact.

Really?! That’s crazy. I was diagnosed with ADD as a child but I wasn’t diagnosed with autism until I was 28. Growing up with undiagnosed autism in the US was awful. I was always high masking, and I thought that explained why I wasn’t diagnosed with ASD but maybe it was because of the ADD diagnosis. Backwards ass country. This was in the 90s so I hope this shit has improved since then.

I have a conflicted view of Netflix. They're a classic big American corporation and come with all the bullshit that entails, but at the same time they do occasionally do some cool things. Like releasing queer content despite the backlash from the right. They released that "gay boot camp" series recently and it absolutely enraged right wing bigots. This thing with blender is another example. I am very nervous about their Warner Brothers purchase and am hoping they prove to be responsible owners of all those IP's. It seems quite unlikely, though. There are so few American corporations who aren't shitty.

I play Guild Wars 2, and I'm worried if I bought an OLED I would end up with the UI permanently burned in. The technology just doesn't seem compatible with games that feature a persistent UI.
