To add to what others have said, this user is a known spammer that just reposts things from reddit without changing anything.

I love how often these just didn’t make any sense. For example: This one features someone named Andie texting someone named Andie. Maybe they’re both named Andie but also who starts a text with the persons name? Obviously youre talking to them… thats why you texted them…

A few literally made statements that included “I’m Irish and so I know how bad this is”

The problem is that this person posts CONSTANTLY and is spamming communities without even changing the title. This had tricked a lot of people into thinking this person is the OP of that post. Imo one of the best things about lemmy/piefed is that the userbase is small enough to make everything feel like a community that you’re a part of. There are posts where i can recognize the creator that made them before I even look at the name. This actively harms that by flooding posts that are super generic and often straight up lies (such as posts that start with “my son did” etc)

Actually this is the comment that sparked it for me: lemmus.org/comment/19909292 That comment thread had no impact on my choice to make a meta-meme and instead I just stole this comments joke.

I promise I didnt intend to kick off an entire lemmy trend lol

Unfortunately this person just reposts stuff from reddit. This isn’t actually their kid.

Incorrect! A second pair has hit lemmy: (NSFW obviously) lemmy.world/post/52631216

Damn now I’ll never be able to watch One Piece
