  Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. There is no birth narrative in the earliest gospel, Mark, it is an invention of later writers. I think the Romans put his "birthday" on the calendar close to Saturnalia to appease the Saturnalians or whatever.   I must say that from the Zapruder film, it really does *look* like he was shot from the front the second (?) time. Somewhere down the JFK assassination documentary rabbit hole, I remember one commentator saying something like "we're trying to determine the reality of an event from a series of two-dimensional moving images," or something along those lines. Anyway, noodling about this probably isn't the best use of my time . . .

  Getting into crackpot territory here, but I think the assassination might very well have had some connection to [MKULTRA](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MKUltra). The CIA destroyed all the files related to this, and so unless they missed some, we'll probably never know for certain.
