  Today is the last day of moving stuff to a new place. I’m working from an empty kitchen where the things are at places where they were when we moved in two years ago. I’m waiting for a cleaning guy to finish the couch cleaning here. Not that we made a big mess on it, it’s just someone decided a white couch would be a good idea. I’m happy to leave because a new place is better and cheaper, but the #moving is hard and stressful. Tomorrow it will be finally over by handing over the keys.

  A couple of years ago, I made a bad decision to develop a CMS for my brother’s business. It turned into a tedious routine of maintaining a large project with uncertain prospects for monetization. A couple of days ago, we finally moved that business to a platform that suits it perfectly. I can finally archive that project and get rid of this burden of responsibility. Together with moving, I definitely have reasons to celebrate.

  I created #GeoPulse accounts for each family member and migrated all location history data from the #Owntracks recorder. The last bit was to switch #HomeAssistant location reporting to it. I'm not sure we will use GeoPulse often, but it's nice to know we have #SelfHosted location history. Can't wait to integrate it with #Immich, once we move there. #homelab #selfhost #selfHosting #LocationHistory #GPS

  Guess what? All my #homelab went offline today at 3:50 AM while I'm away from home. Is it a rule or something? It happened right after "Cloud Gateway Ultra has updated to 5.1.19" and was resolved by gateway reboot. I never had issues with #Unifi updates previously. This sucks.   We are renting a part of the old mansion together with a part of its basement. It also has a small dirt area where my wife started gardening. On a second gardening season, I found out that there was a watering hose running from the basement to the garden. It was detached from the pipe and left in the basement twisted. The hardest part of recovering this watering system was to push a hose through a small 3-meter-long tunnel from the basement to the garden. But now we have water! #gardening

  We are slowly preparing for our first hike with a tent and night in the woods. I’ve got a #turbad tent for three made in #Ukraine, and a #regatta backpack on discount. There is still a lot we don’t have. For example, my daughter doesn’t have any proper clothes and shoes. Also we need sleeping bags and pads.   This is a disk I/O report for the last 30 days of every #Proxmox node of a cluster. Something happened around March 28 that caused high disk usage, and I can’t figure out what. The replication tasks are failing randomly, and actually, any disk operations are slowed down. Also, there are no significant changes in CPU, RAM, or network usage. I was hoping to find which LXCs are causing this, but they all have similar disk IO graphs. Well, shit. #homelab #ProxmoxCluster #HighDiskUsage #zfs #mystery
