@kwf I’m glad I’m not the only American who prefers Wagos; I couldn’t find them at Lowe’s this weekend so I had to resort to the classic wirenut+electrical tape system which always feels…dangerous

@IPngNetworks what’s your motivation behind using LEGO in place of certbot? I’ve always used certbot and I’m curious what I’m missing out on

  • View post

@jeroen @IPngNetworks Ah, at some point Certbot gained the ability to do acme-dns challenges; that’s how I’ve been requesting certificates for sites in my homelab (where acme-dns is the only option because those DNS subdomains don’t resolve outside of my network). I was curious about the specifics of how certificates were being distributed, so thanks for explaining that!

@IPngNetworks @jeroen That was a very interesting and well written article, as always. Thanks for the ping and the great content!

@0x2a I see you releasing a new version 2 days after I finally got the latest release transferred to my work computer 👀 😆

@tarajdactyl@tech.lgbt as a kid I confused the words “tourist” and “terrorist”, which led to all kinds of confusion regarding airports in about 2003

@tarajdactyl@tech.lgbt oh no, they’ve already taken away 👌 if they take 👍 as well I’m only gonna be left with 🤠 to mean “yes” in all work contexts

@reverseics I mean…isn’t the famous motto of the software industry “move fast and break things”? Hopefully ICS has less of that because those machines can literally move very quickly and therefore destroy things

@fasterthanlime Why the heck does neovim depend on `openh264`?? I guess I’ve never *tried* opening an MP4 with neovim before…🤔

@tarajdactyl@tech.lgbt I use a similar technique for technology, like to figure out when I first started using Debian. Jessie is forever old but Stretch is the new hotness…right?

@benjojo I’ve been wondering why this was only happening with some links in Ivory. Thanks for tracking that down!
