This interview with #MatthewCollings really resonated with me. It surprised me that he is now an art world pariah, yet it doesn't surprise me. It's kind of shocking to hear someone confirm what you know is how things work. I fairly recently started making art again after around ten years of running a business and I relate to Collings describing his liberation of rediscovered something he loves. He talks of being true to yourself and just making the art you want to make. I&...

#CluesBySam is as much about words and wording than it is about logic.

Some people get wiser as they grow older and some people don't. So if you're like me you can be so very very wise. #Wise

RE: https://wehavecookies.social/@wilfridl/117393446460184533 Here's some wisdom. Put your clothes on inside out. That way you won't get food all down them when you eat dinner

Whatever comes of the #GreenParty's #ZionismIsRacism motion it demonstrates why member-led parties are so important. Because it was a members' vote that passed the motion, it doesn't matter if the media hound #Polanski and get him removed because even with a new party leader, the motion will still stand. It's not a case of getting rid of #Corbyn to kill the movement. The movement is part of a grassroots process, not a top-down policy. This is what #YourParty was...

#ZionismIsRacism Beware of the concern trolls over this #GreenParty motion. There will be plenty of chin stroking sensible types who think opposing racism, imperialism and oppression isn't a wise strategy.

I'm in the process of adding some more photos for sale. All profits will go to charities in support of #Gaza. I'm still compiling it all and working stuff out but you can see my two photos sets at these pages: https://store.lightupon.store/light-upon-photos https://store.lightupon.store/light-upon-photos-set-2 #ArtistsofMastodon #ArtForGaza #Palestine

Another fault in a #CluesBySam puzzle. We are told column A has more innocents than any other column - which is three - then we are told Zoe has an odd number of innocents above her which has to be a number less than three - so one. That means Zoe is a criminal but because I selected it too early I get told I made a mistake.

I just donated to this because it looks quite beautiful and powerful. Perhaps folk on Fedi who are into #games and #gaming will also consider donating some money. https://www.launchgood.com/v4/campaign/dreams_on_a_pillow__a_videogame_experience_about_the_1948_nakba_based_on_a_true_story #DreamsOnAPillow

My dad told me some people are having trouble selling Rolf Harris's house. That is, no one wants to buy it. But the truth is, if they lowered the price enough, someone would buy it. It's a case of: if you can afford to buy that house, why would you buy the house of a famous sex offender when there are plenty of other houses you could buy? It's actually a case of the estate agents not being willing to drop the price until it is sold. If the house went low enough, someone...

I would love to see the #BayeuxTapestry but I'm not sure we should be supporting the #BritishMuseum, especially with their shitty erasure of the word #Palestine. I also imagine there to be long queues and that puts me off also. I went a few weeks ago and it took about 15 minutes to queue to get in, although people who had tickets were fast tracked inside. I still imagine there will be long queues though. https://www.artnews.com/art-news/news/bayeux-tapestry-tickets-pricing-1234786836/

This photo is about knowing your political limits or being aware of limits placed upon you. It is about the continued reminders from your circumstances, from people around you and from #SocialMedia that some battles are not your battles. This might be unfair or you just might feel it's unfair. Either way the limits are there and the door remains closed. You get animals with multiple legs but you don't get animals with multiple heads unless it's a genetic mistake. I want animals with lots of heads like in Clash of the Titans.

I was looking for some shelf brackets that I bought and I was looking everywhere but I couldn't see them. I looked in the place I was likely to put them but they weren't there. My wife said it was the pixies and they hide things and eventually I'll look in the same place and suddenly they will appear. After a while I looked again. I looked in the obvious place I would have put them, a place I'd checked about twenty times. I found a box and opened it and there we...

British painter Iain Alexander says Trump likes to call him his favourite British artist and Iain Alexander is happy to freely admit that. Alexander advertises himself as an “international royalty portrait artist” although it is not clear which royals have sat for a portrait by him. https://www.artnews.com/art-news/news/british-painter-behind-proposed-250-bill-trump-interview-1234787761/ #Art #Artists #Painter #Trump #250DollarBill
