@Axomamma Not a lawyer, but what I&#39;ve read in the past is that he can file the appeal if he wants, that doesn&#39;t require a bond, but filing the appeal on its own doesn&#39;t really avoid him having to pay. After 30 days if there&#39;s no bond posted the AG can start seizing his stuff.

@nitishpahwa.com Apparently Oregon&#39;s half-staff order isn&#39;t real, it&#39;s a photoshop (cf: https://bsky.app/profile/golikehellmachine.com/post/3lyjzhcrwec2g ). But Newsom and Polis and Shapiro have all said very stupid things in praise of the murder victim, and some or all of them did lower flags to half-staff in his memory. Surely one can denounce his murder without pretending there was anything redeemable about his horrible life&#39;s work?
