Apparently Mastodon is gonna add e2e encryption to private messages i do not care and won't update if such a thing gets implemented on akkoma there is a PGP key on my website

    >Currently, Mastodon servers (and other Fediverse software) store local copies of media attached to posts as they are distributed throughout the network lmao (no one does that we just link images to their original instances) >We will implement a new Fediverse Auxiliary Service Provider (FASP) that will allow sharing storage and media processing between servers. what the hell is that elaborate bullshit

with all the weird laws being voted around the world I might do my part and write a guide about how to circumvent age verification and avoid surveillance on the new internet in the meantime, install Slackware, use IRC, use XMPP, use forums, never install an update you don't understand, use ProtonVPN to go around georestrictions, use nyaa.si, 1337x.to, /t/ and archive.org to download everything you want, learn server administration

i might do my part in the smuggling of operating systems not implementing age verification if they become hard to find message me and I'll send iso files i doubt this would ever happen tho
