  Protip: If you want to staple soft things together from one side, such as for the repair of a leather jacket or rubber shoe, you want the medical style stapler, not the construction or office style. Medical staplers are able to turn the sharp ends of the staple to face one another so they aren't pointing directly at your soft human meat while you are wearing the item.
