@bubbline I totally agree. Which is why we’ve decided to go for text-based courses (see mooc.fi). Many users seem to like them too. For instance, the Elements of AI course has over 1,4M users and is currently rated as the best English-language computer science course (by Class-Central). I wish people would snap out of the obsession with videos.

Ilmainen juttuvinkki kaikille Yhdysvaltain vaaleista kirjoittaville toimittajille: 1. Valitse mikä tahansa ihmisryhmä (naiset, miehet, nuoret, vanhat, keski-ikäiset, maahanmuuttajat, vasenkätiset, …), joka ei ole häviävän pieni. 2. Kirjoita juttu ”Ratkaisivatko X Yhdysvaltain vaalit?”, missä X on valitsemasi ihmisryhmä. 3. Toista. En voi ymmärtää mitä järkeä tällaisissa jutuissa on. Totta helvetissä ratkaisi, jos ero voittajan ja häviäjän välillä on pienempi kuin ko. ihmisryhmän koko. #vaalit

@davidculley Well, I was just considering to try BlueSky, which I said many times I won’t go for because I prefer the ideology behind Mastodon. However, I simply can’t gain any engagement on Mastodon despite having tried this and that, incl. changing the instance. I get typically 5 likes and, if I’m lucky, 1 boost, 0 comments. I quit Twitter for ideological reasons, and I’ve hung out on Mastodon for years, but either I’ll become a social media hermit (a fine option) or try BlueSky.
