I bought a used trumpet today from a local symphony's instrument fundraiser. This is why my wife can't leave me alone on Saturdays.

Guitar #10, all assembly required. A future project to do with my son next year when our schedules gel. 🎸

I’ve bought another guitar since my last post, back in November. Found a great deal on this Pacifica at a pawn shop. It’s strung with 10.5s at Eb, and it stays there. Very fun guitar. And about an hour ago…I ordered…a new guitar. Another great deal, this time on Amazon. Should arrive next week and hopefully I get a good one. Always nerve-wracking to buy one online, unplayed. I’ve been lucky with online guitars twice in two tries. Hoping that continues.

Life update: I had bariatric sleeve surgery the day before the election. I'm down 79 pounds from my heaviest weight in 2023, and have no regrets. But if you think it's an easy way out...it's not. It's a lot of work.

I'm slowly making my way to 100 lbs. lost since my bariatric surgery. 86 and counting. Believe me when I say it is NOT an easy way out. It's a lot of damn work, and a hell of a learning process. But I have incredible support.

#13: "Irish" Eventually she'll have a gold pickguard and gold hardware, as well as some University of Notre Dame decorations. She's my first kit guitar, built by myself. Not quite done yet..want to order a couple of parts that are better than the kit came with. A good warm-up for the bigger guitar build project with my son later this year, the unfinished #10...

In a world of ridiculous reality and constant soul-crushing headlines, be thankful for mindless comedy like Letterkenny. I know I am.

I don't think I have too many guitars. Clearly I just need a bigger space for storing them. :bd230:

After losing both of the Fantasy Football championship games I was in, and absorbing the crushing blows of defeat...more than eight weeks ago...I've only just today managed to muster the enthusiasm to start watching FFL-related content again today.
