Everyday, as a part of my morning routine I turn off Copilot on Outlook and Teams. I'm partly annoyed they turn this back on every day. But I do kind of like telling it to fuck off at the start of my day.

#AI has ruined countless things so far, but one that's annoying me today is Etsy. I used to be able to hand made items from local sellers with only modest effort put into their search + filter tools. The AppStoreConnect app on iOS generates nice little animations with stock text when an update to your app gets approved. They’re very cool and a good reminder that video generated from assets in the traditional pre-genAI way can look really good. Obviously if you’re interested in a Jellyfin music client on Apple platforms Jelly Jams is the best one I make (https://jellyjams.coffey.app). But if you’re not, the sparkly gif is still fun.
