Hi all. I’m bored. I’m not really “back” - still have super bad writer’s block/no time - but I’ve realized I need conversation that’s not just “lol Instagram reel.” So hello, people of Mastodon. I am doing a PhD in #PoliSci (#geoeconomics/#CriticalRawMaterials). I work on the #EnergyTransition and often go to energy conferences and similar, most recently at DGAP and one held by adelphi. I live in Germany (mein Deustch ist C1 aber nicht perfekt) . Photography is my thing. Hallo! #introduction

@djwfyi @Jennifer thanks! I think I’ll try it out, why not, everyone I’ve spoken to seems to love it!

☕️Personal account! (again, haha) I’ve added a personal account on a Germany-based instance! I had shared the mastodon dot social one previously but this one works better for me re: improving my German, plus someone said they can’t follow me on mastodon dot social (I seem to recall there being some issue with that depending on the instance)…so…. Come join me! https://social.tchncs.de/@sabrinaingermany Still on mastodon.social but I check this linked one ^ more often.

Thesis? ❌ Novel? ✅ Irresponsible Saturday, apparently. I need a break anyway. #AmWriting

I just want to say, readers, thank you so much for your patience. ❤️ I’ve had years of writer’s block. But I’ve had a breakthrough, thank God, like a major one, and I have some gems here that I’m slowly and carefully extracting. It’s not about perfectionism, it’s about doing justice to the story and the subject. I will eventually give you the books you’ve been waiting for, God willing. #writing #WritersBlock

I’m thinking of restarting my blog, even though I’m not exactly publishing anything at the moment. I’m going through the #writing process again for the first time in five years (!) and I think I have some valuable things to share.

Since there’s so many #books out there with the same formula (pun intended)…I made something, lol.

No fiction-writing updates, but I did write something! Title: “Policy Intervention in the EV Battery Supply Chain.” Officially have an MPP now, thank God. Hoping to be back once I get some things worked out re: my books.

Helloooo. How’s everyone doing? Been wildly busy for the past, well, 2.5 years. Updates: - Earned an MPP in Germany, focusing on energy policy - Earned C1 German - Trying to find work (yay) - Writing again, kind of (actual yay). I finally have a clearer plot + sense of setting, which was a major stumbling block - Purchased Atticus and have been editing my books in hopes of rereleasing as several shorter ones Not on here much but yeah, things are going well, thank God. Happy early spring! 🌷
