The &quot;good guys&quot; are human. The &quot;elites&quot; and the &quot;regular folks&quot; are human. Every social and economic class is made of humans. Rapists and pedophiles are human. Givers and heroes are human. Humans are full of beneficial stuff, harmful stuff, neutral stuff.

    The baby was watching me put up my hair this morning and it occurred to me I should probably eventually have an answer for her if she ever asks why I don&#39;t do corn rows or bantu knots as her friends do. Or, more likely, why I won&#39;t allow her to. How do I say how borrowing is good but theft is bad and how being from a colonizing people shifts the balance from one to the other? Why that makes a difference. And once again I lament the ethnicity my ancestors abandoned for whiteness.
