Good Morning. I had such a difficult time coming to work this morning. Half of the sidewalks were icy, and had to backtrack a couple of times, hug poles and other similar activities to walk to work. It took me 45 minutes instead of the 25 that it usually does. Please, be careful out there today if you are walking or taking your vehicle. There is lots of icy patches. Be safe, stay indoors if you can.

“Authors” using AI slop in their books: a small list. Photo by Markus Spiske on Pexels.com We have lately seen a surge in AI slop. Review: The Strength of the Few – James Islington I started reading the second book in the Hierarchy series, "The Strength of the Few" by James Islington, at the end of December. It picks up right after the events of the first book; if you have not read the first book, there will be limited spoilers (nothing major). We follow Vis Telimus in 3 different worlds; Res, the world w...

I do not post much on social media, due to the lack of time mostly. But today is a very very sad day. I learned late yesterday, that Sir Patrick Stewart passed away. I am gutted. He was my captain. He was my Professor X. He is and always will be a Legend. RIP Sir Patrick Stewart. You are already sorely missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. #startrek #sirpatrickstewart #TNG #professorx

Good Morning. Been a hectic few weeks for me. I had a few beautiful days in Liverpool, where I went to the World Museum and the Liverpool library. I also went to the Tate but the main building is under renovation, and the smaller one they have relocated only had a smal;l Liverpool exhibit, as their main gallery was preparing for a new exhibit. Then, I caught a cold and was out for a few days, and still have a residual cough and sniffling, which will go away in the next few days, hopefully. And...
