Chesto's reporting often feels like it's got a conservative bend to it like the story is being covered deliberately to attract opposition to the policy. Look if a gas line is not getting enough users forcing the vendor to keep it running at a loss just for a minority of customers isn't smart either. https://www.bostonglobe.com/2026/10/01/business/gas-cutoff-massachusetts-energy-law/

The outside of your scope probe will fit perfectly into an Lego technic hole. For anyone who needs to rapid prototype a test fixture this is faster and greener than running your 3D printer for hours. It's also a lot more satisfying.

@Lydie@tech.lgbt They make a lot of variations of this microscope camera with vastly different functionality.s Mine can: * Record at 30fps with mp4 encoding while displaying 1080 at 60fps * Take still photos while displaying at the CCD native resolution (can't remember but it's good) * Measure and annotate on the screen when you fix the focus and calibrate it! This is often a lifesaver if you don't have the datasheet :)

RE: https://toot.boston/@knizer/116426111840363541 I can't help but feel like we lost as a nation here. We not only looked bad but we made it nearly impossible for this PhD recipient to feel safe staying in our country after finishing her studies.
