I was just thinking about this last night when I saw yet another GoFundMe set up for someone for a medical expense that they should never have to worry about. But in America, supposedly one of the richest countries in the world, there is no such thing.

@YakyuNightOwl Yeah, I was commenting to my daughter the other day that we never hear about ICE anymore, but it's not that they've stopped. It's that for some reason everybody just decided it didn't matter anymore, and I don't quite get it.

Overcast users are so petulant. The strict limit setting was the internally consistent choice. Otherwise, what’s a limit if it’s not a limit? 😄 🤷

I am not ego driven. I'm not out to prove anything. But eventually when people doubt me or my motivations, I do grow weary of it. I can do what I need to do. My motivations are correct. Please stop doubting me, and let’s get to work.

The longer I live, the more I learn that all humans, no matter how intelligent they are, have their stupid hills that they want to die on. Every single one of us has things that we will believe despite the evidence and despite the facts. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to try to minimize those things within yourself.

@siracusa @atpfm disagree and commit is probably used in tons of companies. It was definitely used a lot at Intel in the many years that I worked there.

@atpfm I don’t know why your listener made a distinction between using passkeys and using 1Password. 1Password has full passkey support, including in items in shared vaults. In fact, all my passkeys are either in 1Password or a Yubikey.

@atpfm Guys, the swoopy blue thing on the calendar 5’s icon is for Ukraine. These guys are Ukrainian developers. I think their website talks about this. At any rate they haven't always had that on the corner, and presumably they won't anymore if Russia ever stops being an asshole, but that's the point of it.
