  I rewatched "48 Hrs". I don't think I've seen it since the 80s. Woof. Still not sure if Nick Nolte was approaching his character as "what if alcoholism was a racist" or "what if racism was an alcoholic". On a scale of 1-10 I'll give it a "just watch Beverly Hills Cop".
