Absolutely FANTASTIC episode of #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds today! I have not at all minded the "gimmicks" this season, but I know a lot of people haven't been crazy about them. But this episode was just good 'ol Star Trek. I admit, Buu and I saw a lot of the plot points coming. I don't think they were especially trying to hide certain things that we sussed out. We're not being super clever, is what I'm saying. It was good writing. The...

Damn. Really wish I had known that the "Trace of Echoes" loot that is required to unlock Echoing Hatred are "hyper rare" before I spent mine. 😭 I thought it was just another purple quest to unlock another system within the game. I did get two pieces of Level-900 gear, but I don't want to use either. (Good stats but buffs powers I don't use.) Hopefully Buu and I run across more Trace of Echoes. 😑 #DiabloIV

Question for the #Diablo4 community: Ever since about Torment 8, my husband and I keep randomly dying. Like, I get it, higher torment levels are harder. And yes, sometimes I see a damage splat that gets me before I can evade out of it. That's fair. But that's not what I'm talking about. Several times, I've been looking right at my character, and she just falls down and dies. No damage splat, no falling sword, literally nothing anywhere near my character, she ju...

@FranceskaMann Being able to share my passion (video games) with my partner was one of my requirements. I'd been married before, and had also dated non-gamers for a long time, and knew I would not be happy unless we could share this. We make a great team, and it's awesome. ^_^ ❤️

#CityOfHeroes Homecoming (2022-Present) Main account: 84 characters 3,656 logins 12,405 hours played Alt account: 65 characters 1,575 logins 5,941 hours played This is just Homecoming servers, and doesn't count all the time I spent in the Retail game (2004-2012), nor the Secret Server (2016-2017). This is hands down the most time I've spent in any game. My highest count in Steam is Skyrim with 506 hours. Just in case it wasn't clear how much I love this game, hopefu...

Soon it will be #Halloween! I have been Trick or Treating all month in City of Heroes, how are you celebrating the holiday this year? I was afraid I wouldn't get this image done in time to share before halloween. My first attempt did not come out good at all. I started my second attempt last night thinking I would need a few days to complete it, but ended up staying up until the wee hours to finish it. #Watercolor #Painting

For the record: #MTG players are required to announce triggers of the cards they control. You cannot, for example, remain silent about your Charismatic Conqueror when your opponents play a creature or artifact, and hope they forget about its trigger. You have to say something like "Charismatic Conqueror trigger?" or "Do you tap your creature or artifact?" or "Do I get a token?" If you instead remain silent and hope your opponent forgets abou...

I was originally gonna do something else with my #Nails this week, but someone reminded me that it's #MerMay so I did this instead. #NailArt #NailDesign #NailPolish

Whenever I lie down for a nap, I bring a #ferret to bed with me. They almost never stay put. If I'm lucky, one might let me snuggle for a few minutes. Imagine my surprise, then, when I went into the bedroom last night and found Rusty and Amber passed out on the bed! So cute! (I built a set of stairs out of boxes covered in kitchen towels so they can get up and down as they please.) #ferrets

My #MTG secret lair order was supposed to ship today. Instead, I got an email from #WotC that due to production delays, the new shipping date is June 8. That will be six weeks after I placed my order. Well, I'll tell you what.. this was the first time I ordered a secret lair set, and it will be the last. For $12 in shipping and a 6-week wait.. I might as well wait for the cards to hit after-market sites where I can buy just the cards I want, and not pay for shipping at all. I want MTG...

ICYMI: Hugh Jackman is part of a cult that abuses women and children. There's no evidence that Jackman himself participates in abuse, but he does promote this cult in interviews. Personally, I'll no longer be supporting any project with his name attached. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Corqql0QGHE

After weeks of not touching any of my art works in progress, I finally finished my Animar sketch last night and inked it today. Despite my best efforts to get the proportions right, everything is unfortunately shifted to the right compared to the original. I couldn't even fit some of the original image's elements into my piece. That said, I think this is close enough to the source image to be recognizable for what it is. And now I see all the lines I missed - I'll go bac...

Buu had me add Drumbellower to my ElemElkal (Marath) deck. Now every time I see the card, the Drum Boogie pops into my head. Buu said "Yeah, that's what he says every time he untaps your stuff!" BOOGIE! Here, now you can have it stuck in your head too. #MTG #Commander #EDH #MagicTheGathering https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUqd6-11lsQ

I finished the Animar painting for my husband today. This is my attempt to reproduce the Animar secret lair art by Jack Teagle. I'm still relatively happy with how it came out, despite my lack of skill. Also, this was scanned with an actual scanner instead of photographed with my phone. Yay! I have a flatbed scanner again! It's not quite large enough for the whole 12x9 painting but that's okay. #Watercolor #Painting #MagicTheGathering #MTG

How appropriate that today is National Super Hero Day, because it's also City of Heroes 22nd anniversary! Now I wonder if the game was launched on this day in 2004 because of this specific holiday. I'll be celebrating in #CoH this evening, probably by running an Imperious Task Force on Everlasting (Homecoming servers). I hope to see you there! #CityOFHeroes #NationalSuperHeroDay

Even when my #watercolor #painting doesn't come out as nicely as I'd hoped, I always learn or reinforce a lesson. And it's still fun! (Coloring pages: lines were provided for all 3 of these.) Mountains: I learned that I can't accurately create a gradient of colors in separate wells. I need to paint ALL the mountains with the lightest purple, let it dry, then go over foreground mountains with successively darker and more saturated layers. Hawk: if I want to l...
