added a new feature to my X11 WM that I can't recall seeing anywhere else. Basically when switching workspaces it "iconifies" all applications/windows on that workspace resulting in a noticeable improvement to CPU/GPU usage. I did this selfishly to improve performance when i'm running multiple clients of #EVEOnline It works. it works well. https://codeberg.org/rozodru/rzwm #linux #OpenBSD #windowmanager

I liked suckless, I liked dwm and ST. but man it's just tiring. if the lead dev of like tmux ends up being someone that likes eating babies I don't know wha...

everytime I update my #nixos flake I cringe a bit. "what's it going to break this time?" This time it was a password management script for Qutebrowser something with keyctl. The good thing is I don't want to deal with it again and it gives me an excuse to finally ditch Rofi. Thankfully it's easy to pull my passwords from the terminal.
