Did a major cleanup and a shelf expansion in my basement. Also labeled the entire inventory with #homebox, a truly great piece of software that can be easily #selfhosted Once again, I kindly invite you all to explore my museum of Vintage pocketable computing tech here: https://museum.tiredsysadmin.cc #retrocomputing #vintagecomputing #vintagemobilephones

Some procedurally generated tunes(no AI!) to kickstart your working day. Proudly made using: - a $0 computer I assembled from scrap parts during my student days - free VST plugins from KVRaudio - Carla VST host - ORCΞ›, an esoteric programming language for building MIDI sequencers #music #electronicmusic #orcasequencer #lofi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvgk4hfKO1s

Behold, this is my king of junk boxes, a plywood enclosure held together only by staples and hot glue, containing 10 commodity SSD drives and a USB 3 HUB, all forming a 4TB data array of mergerfs on top of snapraid. Endlessly proud of how it turned out. So far the temperature and SMART data are good. #homelab #linux #raspberrypi #raid #diy
