Jane Goodall - 2024 This was actually my first portrait drawing using graphite pencils and charcoal. I liked drawing all the tiny details that only appear when you look really close and adding layer on top of layer to get the depth in her face, hand and clothes. It took an enormous amount of time to finish this portrait, but it was worth every minute. What so you think? #graphite #GraphiteOnPaper #drawing #art #artist #TraditionalArt #portrait #MastoArt #RawValueArt #DutchArtist

Life-threatening Pattern - 2026 Graphite drawing on paper, A3. This is my submission for an upcoming exhibition themed "pattern". Since I love to draw dark themed things and dangerous animals, I immediately wanted to draw a cobra, because when they get agitated or feel threatened they will show their hood, that sometimes contains extraordinary patterns. #graphite #GraphiteArt #art #artist #artwork #TraditionalArt #drawing #MastoArt #RawValueArt #DutchArtist #exhibition #pat...

Halloween maand.... dat wordt weer eens een tekening in het horror genre. Heerlijk, heb er nu al zin in! Het wordt een tekening gebaseerd op één van mijn favoriete films, ken je hem? #RawValueArt #DutchArtist #horror #movie #idea #halloween #NewProject

Inktober 2026, day 7 - panic Together with my local drawing club at Waddinxveense Kunst Kring, we are joining Inktober 2026 (like we did last year). Everyone at the drawclub gets 2 or 3 prompts that he/she will make, at the end having a really nice collection of drawings in different style. Here's my first drawing of this WaddinkVeen challenge that we call it . #inktober #WaddinkVeen #panic #inkt #inktober2026 #ink

Godzilla - 2025 Graphite pencil on paper, A4. A drawing I made for a funny "drawing battle" on Godzilla between some of the members of our drawing club, each of us in our own style. Since I love to do realistic drawings, this was the result from me. Drawing all scales was a pretty tedious task, but I was really happy with the result. Do you see the saliva in its mouth 😀 #graphite #GraphiteArt #art #artist #artwork #TraditionalArt #drawing #MastoArt #RawValueArt #godzilla #D...

Inktober 2026, day 21 - hero Together with my local drawing club at Waddinxveense Kunst Kring, we are joining Inktober 2026 (like we did last year). Everyone at the drawclub gets 2 or 3 prompts that he/she will make, at the end having a really nice collection of drawings in different style. In The Netherlands we have a so called "Plastic hero" (big orange guy) that is used in commercials for separate collecting of plastics for reclycling. #inktober #WaddinkVeen #hero #inkt #i...

Patek Philippe - 2026 Graphite pencil on paper, A5 As my father was watchmaker, I have a weak for the internals and workings of watches and clocks. To challenge myself to draw something out of my comfortzone, I decided to draw this Patek Philippe watch, a watch I would never ever be able to afford 😀 Drawn on smooth paper to get more details in. Although small, it took a loooong time. #graphite #GraphiteArt #art #artist #artwork #TraditionalArt #drawing #MastoArt #RawValueArt #DutchArtist

Inktober 2026, day 26 - zip Together with my local drawing club at Waddinxveense Kunst Kring, we are joining Inktober 2026 (like we did last year). Everyone at the drawclub gets 2 or 3 prompts that he/she will make, at the end having a really nice collection of drawings in different style. I once read an article about someone ziplining through a forest in (I think it was Costa Rica), bumping into a sloth just hanging there 😀 #inktober #WaddinktVeen #zip #inkt #inktober2026 #ink #sloth
