Pls educate me (love that I can ask that knowing it will be kind!!) #Zuckerburg has said that #Threads will become part of the #Fediverse. He has also said that it will be monetized after hitting 1 billion active users (I don't have links for these statements immediately available). Aren't these two statements opposed to one another? From what I know of the Fediverse/monetization of social media, this makes no sense. 🫠
