My son is learning what things look like from drawings of them, and some of those things he may never meet. Here are some of my thoughts on the matter. https://txt.pablolc.net/posts/overthinking-as-a-dad/ #Life #Thinking #Fatherhood #Philosophy

A few days back I read an article addressing the question "How China's universities joined the global elite?". Since my doctoral thesis touches the matter, I thought of writing something on the matter: https://txt.pablolc.net/posts/how-chinas-universities-joined-the-global-elite/ #Rankings #Universities #HigherEducation #China

    I'm trying to migrate FOSSFORUS.watch from #gitlab to #codeberg but getting Error 500 every time I try. Anyone experienced a similar issue? #git #FOSS #repo #forgejo

Yesterday I finally moved away from #gitlab into a mix of #codeberg and my own self-hosted #forgejo instance for personal projects, including my websites. I wasn't expecting to notice such a difference in speed; I mostly did it for ethical/ideological/technical reasons. Great results! #selfhosting
