  For LLM hype to be over, there needs to be a Film Camera to Digital Camera style transition and remember folks Excel won over Lotus 123, VHS won over Betamax. So shit being shovelled with golden spades do get adopted! I guess I am trying to say, unless there is a societal rejection of how todays LLMs are trained and made available (rejection of data centers in public land with public funded tax breaks), LLMs will be “just useful enough”, until all other tools disappear!

  @aaisp do you see obscene AI Bot traffic at the IP addresses you offer to domestic connections? Do you try to block it? I am completely flummoxed why my gitlab server hosted on a pi at home never goes goes down but my static websites have a 30% uptime (hosted elsewhere on a raspberry pi as well). Might just setup a proxy and do multiple sites at home! [I may have jinxed it now, though 🤦🏽‍♂️ ]

  @neil are you aware of any laws new or existing that makes using your home address for running a single person company, a business address for service providers like electricty/gas etc.? Octopus is refusing to accept my home address for Heatpump installation!
