  Il rispetto è un valore da coltivare ogni giorno. È facile mostrarsi aperti verso chi la pensa come noi, verso chi fa le scelte che anche noi faremmo, verso chi ci somiglia nel modo di vivere, di parlare, di apparire. Ma quello non basta a definirsi rispetto. Il rispetto rivela il suo vero valore quando riusciamo a offrirlo anche a chi è diverso da noi. Il rispetto non nasce dalla somiglianza ma dalla capacità di riconoscere dignità soprattutto nella differenza.
