  Solving slow queries often involves adding another index. But overindexing is real and a lesser-known #Postgres feature is better: 𝑪𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑻𝑬 𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑪𝑺 💡 I often tried to solve a slow query or bad execution plan by adding another, more specific index. It works but ... damn it was expensive. A lesser-known feature in Postgres is extended statistics.   Am I the only European that feels like #AIAgents get less useful in the late afternoon / evening? What I mean, during the day, the results seem MUCH better than later in the day. At least Codex seems to get stuck more in loops, loses the "intelligence" to meaningfully use GDB, and stuff like that. If this isn't just a feeling it would mean that the same model and same effort level creates different results according to the time of day. That'd be real shit. #a...
