That first time a guy I'd recently met made me a mix tape. We ended up together for about 6 years, and when I tell you that I STILL have this cassette, I'm not joking. It's a treasure to me, not to mention just a really great mix tape. Me: It would be so dumb if I stapled my thumb while trying to refill this ancient, stubborn stapler. Narrator, two seconds later: It was, indeed, dumb. And surprisingly bloody.

The cuteness of bunnies (especially babies!) vs. the frustration when they keep eating your zinnia, sunflowers, and coneflowers. *Sigh* I hate to say it, but I'm missing having hawks nesting nearby. I even have chicken wire cloches around the flowers! Somehow they keep getting around them. #Gardening

Three good ones for me. I meant to watch the sequel to the super fun Heroic Trio as somehow I've never seen it, but the days got away from me. Velvet Goldmine is a glorious mess of a movie that I return to again and again. The music is awesome. Burn After Reading was definitely fun, too. #LetterboxdFriday

Made myself feel old remembering that this song is 20+ years old. 😅 Anyway, it reminds me of a road trip mix I made for driving from Atlanta to New Orleans. It was the first song I added because I did indeed leave in the morning.
