  fucking called it when the first batch of millions started rolling in. not that it was too difficult to see. disappointing to see many open source folks being like “who cares?”, which is just the head-in-sand reaction i’m used to encountering when talking about fascist politics with locals. it seems to me that the users who are ready to welcome large amounts of institutional capital into open source projects don’t understand that it comes with strings attached. maybe they think more money = more...
