  S05E07 - vacation squad goes to pleasure planet where they encounter nazis who hate fun. worf also hates fun, so he is easily persuaded to join the nazis. since the whole crew of ds9 is shitlibs, nobody explains any history to worf, they just say "that's bullshit." Eventually, Dax psychoanalyzes Worf and the Nazis go too far. Thus, everything is solved.

  when a shitlib hears fascist rhetoric, they immediately identify it because they realize a string of ten things, situating it within ideological and historical contexts. Then they second-guess themselves or they're embarrassed to explain everything when they can anticipate the argument they'll have to go through, so they just stay quiet or, at best, say "nah that's bullshit"

  odo's backstory makes no sense. this guy was not a cardassian, but this notably paranoid military empire made him a security overseer on their mining station. then he had the independence to choose which cases to prosecute and the bajorans loved him because he was so fair. this is completely implausible, until you realize that it's a shitlib "good cop" fantasy
