    an old friend asked for a print of a poem i published a couple years ago, which mentioned 9th avenue, around where we both lived at the time. it is now posted (framed! and next to another friend&amp;#39;s art piece!) on his wall in the summery place he lives and rents out with a bunch of lovely artsy folks. last week he sent me a video of a stranger reading it aloud. not at all the way i heard it in my head! better still! my heart wanted to explode w/joy. reminding myself there can be surp...

    Due to a wild tangent I took with research a month or two ago, I can&amp;#39;t stop reading theory or biography without adding &amp;quot;but what if this concept/person were adopted by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn&amp;quot; like it&amp;#39;s my scholarly fortune cookie bit.
