    today&#39;s work: faerie cottages ✨ all of my wee houses are made in the kurinuki technique, so carved from a single block of clay. the first day (yesterday, in this case), i shape the basic structure, separate the roof from the building and shape that, and roughly carve out the interior of the house. the second day, i refine all the shapes, carve the rest of the interior, cut out windows and doors, carve the roof, and carve the flowers and plants on the walls. now, they dry (possibly with...

    i came downstairs this morning after the sun had risen but before the shutters were open; the sun was shining in through a tiny gap in the shutters and hitting the prism perfectly, and i just stood there staring at it. i went to get my phone after a bit and just managed to get a photo and video (in replies: the prism was moving so the rainbows were too) before it went. it didn&#39;t last long, but it was actual magic on the walls.
