Watched Millennium Actress the other night. Beautiful movie, I love Satoshi Kon’a range as a filmmaker. It really connects to some of my recent preoccupations — art as a sanctuary for something irreducible and unknowable, the creative gesture as something playful and evasive. Lots of enjoyable media lately. #anime #cinemastodon #amWatching #movies

Been reading some poetry by Li He, Tang Dynasty poet of ghosts and Demons. he was a brilliant literary mind and should’ve been a high-level government official, like all men of culture from his time. #poetry #history

TERRIBLE ANGLES I didn’t used to be wound so tightly 1But it was the world did this to me. When everyone wants to grind you, polish you up, smooth you and turn you into this silica dust, you get no choice, but to become jagged. #MastoArt #sketchbook #drawing https://miksimum.com/2026/11/01/terrible-angles/
