Henceforth I'll be attributing all #TheOffspring quotes to "Dexter Holland, PHD"

There's still time for #tunetuesday What does it say about me that the only #TruckDrivingSongs I could think off was a bonus track from the Bloodhound Gang's 1999 album "Hooray for boobies". It's titled: A lap dance is so much better when the stripper is crying. Its a very black comedy song about a very disturbing truck driver. https://youtu.be/AqRkgmAkL4s?is=UgxG_KJoi0GagGpe

Hi all, so a couple of reminders. There is a daddy/daughter stream tomorrow at 2PM CEST, if you would like to watch my eldest play animal rescue. And on the 5th of November a (nearly) all day marathon stream for the #wowforever launch, with smaller streams for large parts of the Friday and Saturday - I intend to spend launch weekend having a lot of fun in Azeroth. And meantime the usual Monday nights at 9pm #baldursgate3 streams will keep going. Hopefully you'll drop in and say hi t...

Next week Monday I have to work at night (prod deployment outside business hours) as a result there will not be a #baldursgate3 stream next week. Sorry but sometimes my day job has to take precedence and prod deployments have to happen outside business hours.

Let's do #TuneTuesdays with this weeks theme #YesYesYes ... and okay, let me think of songs with Yes in the title. One of my favourite alt-rock antifascist bands of all time has a song that matches: Manic Street Preachers: Yes https://youtu.be/_P84YrHXGo0?

Cool so after being stuck in development hell since I think 2004 the 30 year anniversary of Republica's Eponymous album is finally released. Go listen. I seriously consider #Republica the single most underrated British alt-rock band of the entire late 90s/early 2000s era. They just hit the worst stroke of bad luck (their record label went bankrupt the week after their biggest album was released - it never even had a US release), no marketing, no exposure. And it was a really good al...

My current personal project is a media player / emulation console build out of a cheap Dell Optiplex 3050. It's not a perfectly smooth experience yet, but it's getting better all the time as I resolve various issues and make things play nicer together. But, unlike the Samsung smart TV it's connected to, it does not spy on me - the TV itself had a factory reset and was not connected to WiFi again after. Core technologies I am using: #endeavourOS #Emudeck #SteamBigPic...

It's really not fair to say that, after going public, Google dropped their old "Don't be evil" slogan. In fairness, they really only dropped the word "don't".
