  Every time I accidentally make a macOS window take up the whole screen without being full screen, I wonder if I’m allowed to consider myself a tech worker. Is the plumber ever baffled by the pipe wrench? Is the baker ever bewildered by dough?

  Day One now shows an upgrade nag that can’t be dismissed—despite an arrow that should collapse it or have some effect—and boy am I bent out of shape about it. The upsell link to purchase a plan works just fine. 🫠

  He’s still learning how to snoot or paw open a cracked door, and currently his first step is to sit on the other side and be stressed out. I talk him through it and we do okay. It’s pretty funny.

  TFW you pour a reasonable cup of coffee but the pot is almost empty and it’s rude to leave a tiny bit so you pour the rest in your cup and then it’s right up to the brim and you have to sip a little off the top but it’s too hot so you walk it carefully to your destination but then you spill a little and now there’s coffee on your favorite slipper and you realize that we’re just hurtling alone through an infinite expanse.
