    Mathsushita FDD cleaning complete, drive fired up... in short: it&amp;#39;s something else. Drive reads or not at random. Disks are Amiga Forever fresh. Interstingly, when the drive decides to read, it does so for a longer while, so I can copy a disk or do stuff in Basic. Anyway, Gotek is on its way and the drive lands outside (outside the case via an adapter, not outside the house 😅 ) One thing successfull: kickstart rom chip switched from 1.2 to 1.3. Will keep the 1.2 as a gem. #retrocomputing...

    Gotek arrived from Retro Buddys. My nasty install error of flipped power connector (at the mainboard) fed 12V into Gotek&amp;#39;s 5V pin. This cost me two pendrives. Not aware, I tried to reconnect back the struggiling Matshushita floppy drive and the 12V promoted the half-dead drive to full dead. When I realized what happened and reconnected the power right, everthing worked like a dream. Gotek survived and.. I need to ressuply my pendrive stock. Anyway, my Amiga corner - here it begins! #amig...
