  @ludicity@mastodon.sprawl.club hey, I spent a couple of years as an assistant tutor on pretty good CS/SE program, ended just before current craze. I have several time experienced when student on an exam tries to give an answer but doesn't have full picture in their head, and that's alright, not everybody is expected to ace, but it actually sounds a bit like bad LLM output: confident bullshit. Sometimes you can just poke around and they will realise their mistakes, but sometimes sadly not...
