  Hah. I've done that thing where you try to Ctrl-Z or two-finger-tap while drawing on paper, but this is the first time I've ever put down my Wacom stylus and started looking for a kneaded rubber eraser before realizing that I was working digitally.

  Web site is broken, out of the blue. Spent an hour trying to figure out what the hell happened, and finally figured out that my host has apparently switched from Apache to Litespeed, which is *not* a 1:1 replacement for Apache. I rely on some .htaccess directives that Litespeed does not implement. Fantastic. As far as I can tell this migration wasn't announced anywhere? Going to bed now, but I really did not want to spend my Thursday doing emergency repairs on my Web sites.

  Funny how a printer can violently try to grab paper from the feeder, then stop and go "AHH! I CAN'T GET IT! I'M JAMMED!" and so you press the start button and it calmly feeds the blank paper into the tray with no problems. Over and over again. Just... slow the fuck down and calmly grab the paper from the feeder at the outset, maybe?

  Went to get cat food. Passed two city workers in high-vis suits doing nothing but standing on the corner bitching about unemployed people collecting benefits and what a drain on society they are. Came back an hour later. Same two guys, standing in the same spot, doing nothing but bitching about property taxes. What was this about people being a "drain on society", now?
